Park Bank is proud to have these incredible women on our team, and not just because of their contributions to our business. Each of these women serve on the board for local women-led nonprofit organizations.

Leila Godkin, VP of Business Banking, serves on the board for The Business Forum, which, appropriately, is focused on supporting and strengthening women in our community through networking events, special programs, and philanthropic work. This board is led by President Sam Engelhart of American Printing Company.

Elyse Smithback, First VP of Business Banking, is a member of the Madison Festivals, Inc. board, which produces local events that provide enrichment, education, and entertainment to our community, while also raising funds for various volunteer organizations. MFI’s President is Sara Klemme.

Lexi Gates, Business Services Representative, is a board member and foster parent for Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin, which offers pet rescue and veterinary services with a mission to find permanent homes for animals in need and enrich lives by strengthening the connection between animals and people through community services and outreach. Underdog was founded by Executive Director Lauren Wojtasiak.

Megan Davis, Senior Mortgage Advisor, serves on the board for Extended Hands Pantry, which provides healthy after-school snacks and light meals as well as tutoring services at the Packer and Northport Community Learning Centers. In addition Extended Hands provides groceries at a curbside pantry for 60-100 families at Lighthouse Church and School. Jenny Czerkas co-founded Extended Hands and serves as Operations Director.

Leslie Osman, Vice President of Marketing & Communications, is a board member for Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, an organization focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of domestic violence survivors and their families. DAIS also provides the only domestic violence shelter for all of Dane County. DAIS is led by Executive Director Shannon Barry.

Across the industry, women in banking are making their mark not only on their organizations, but also throughout the community. We are proud to spotlight this group of Park Bank women leaders for their work on these women-led nonprofit organizations.

As the longest-serving Madison-based community bank, Park Bank is driven to create an ever-stronger community through collaboration with nonprofit organizations focused on diversity and inclusion, paid volunteer time for associates to give their time and energy to causes that matter to them, and deepening charitable impact in order to help create positive change in the communities Park serves. Because by giving back, we all move forward. Learn more at ParkBank.com or call 608.278.2801 for more information.
