Park Bank credit card holders now have access to CardValet, a mobile app that can help prevent fraud and help you control your spending all at the same time. To view an interactive video about CardValet, click here.

With CardValet, you can take a proactive approach in helping to prevent fraud while managing your expenses, right through your smartphone. You’ll be able to:

  • Turn your card on or off
  • Set locations where your card can be used
  • Restrict transactions based on merchant type
  • Establish transaction amount limits
  • Enable alerts for certain transaction types

Fraud Protection. A lost or stolen card is just one area of concern in today’s world where identity theft, skimming and other attacks are an unfortunate reality. Turning your credit card off when you’re not using it helps safeguard against fraud. When your card is "off," no purchases will be approved. Transaction controls that allow your credit card to work only in specific locations or geographic areas, add another layer of protection. And real-time alerts keep you informed when your card is used or declined.

Control Spending. If you’re trying to establish or stick to a budget, CardValet can help. Set spending limits for general use or specify thresholds by merchant types, such as gas, groceries or retail stores. CardValet lets you change these parameters anytime with ease via your mobile device. Going on vacation? Holiday shopping? Simply update your transaction controls to fit your spending needs.

Business Use. CardValet is a great tool for controlling business spending on your credit card. Use the transaction controls for merchant codes, location and thresholds to ensure employee spending adheres to your company policies.

To start using CardValet, simply download the CardValet app from the Apple App store or Google Play store from your compatible mobile device. After downloading the app, complete the registration process – you can manage multiple cards with one login but you’ll need to register each card separately. Once you’re registered, you’re all set to take control of your credit card! For more information on CardValet, visit our Personal Banking Resource Center page.
